Build Your Repertoire

Hey there. Been a while. So much goin on in life.

I'm taking gymnastics, contemporary dance, ballet, and hip hop. I'm also taking a guitar class. And i've been doing artwork and spending time with my sister and friends. So much stuff goin on. Here's a peak:

FYI, there has been a lull as of late in my activity. I've missed classes and such. It's because i've taken them for granted and gotten lazy.At the beginning of the year, everything was new and exciting. It has become routine and i've slowed my passion. I've let an opportunity pass me by.. to be an extra in a student film with my friend Gunnar as one of the leads. Do not let yourself think you are doing ENOUGH to get your dreams. Do more, while staying sane of course ;)

YOU MUST CHANGE FROM WITHIN

You need to reinvigorate your love for your passion all the time. Do things that inspire your passion. For me, it's watching Glee hehe.

So yeah... no class or coach or opportunity can do anything for you unless you apply yourself and take responsibility to make yourself a better dancer, musician, actor.  FOCUS. And LOVE WHAT YOU DO so much that you do it always everywhere.

Like Minds - Gunnar

When you meet wise hard-working people that have similar goals as you, you need to see what a rare thing it is. These are the thinkers. These are the doers. Just like you. As a team, you can collaborate on a project and create something worthwhile that springs both of you forward in life.

Journal ¶
A lot of exciting things have been happening. I met Michael St. Clair, a very talented music producer. I've begun to record my songs. I'm also writing more. It's been exciting, for someone who never thought of herself as a singer/songwriter ever. I've always loved music and art tho, the way it moves you. I also had the pleasure of meeting Gunnar Thorderson. He is going places. Together, he, Michael, and my friend Aaron, started some awesome stuff. A lot is in store with this talented group. Photo shoots, scene work, acting projects, extra work, duets, and a strong youtube miniseries. Something is coming. Something big. And i'm glad you get to witness the process.

Gunnar told me a lot about the biz. He was so willing to dispense his knowledge about the industry.

I missed going to Moab today. It's a 3 and a half hour drive to Moab.

So i'll do the second option of sending in my pic to the CA office. I hope i'm still picked for the movie. How cool would this opportunity be?! I should have just sucked it up and drove to Moab. I didn't realize how big a movie it was though, now i really wish i went.

'The Lone Ranger' has a budget of upwards 200 MILLION dollars and is set to release May 2013. Armie Hammer [Mirror, Mirror; the Social Network] plays the Lone Ranger and Johnny Depp plays his right hand mand, Tonto.

Interesting that there's a couple Salt Lake City Auditions on this random site. Heat, and Greece is the Word. I'm kinda thinkin i'll go to it, just for the experience, for the fun of it, that is... if i can get my sister to go with me. ;-) April.
